1996 "Lakefront 1889 Grandeur" – Michelle's Sitting Room
This private room is a sitting and writing area. As you walk in, there is a love seat to the right done in a fabric trimmed in fringe and a stripe combination. The pull-up chairs have a floral ruffled skirt and a pillow or cushion tied in large bows with a lumbar pillow trimmed in a tassel fringe. An ottoman used as a coffee table is colored in leopard print. The area rug underneath is gold loop carpet with leopard fabric border. Across from the sitting area is the writing table in front of the window that has a balloon valance and a sheer panel underneath with Lucite crystal fringe trim. Walls are faux finish butted with a light terra cotta top. The room is done with an English garden feel, and a hand painted window in the sitting area. Accessory touches include a collection of plates and a hanging bird cage.
1997 "Turrets & Towers" – 2nd Floor Hall Bath
Even before the morning coffee, when you step into this bathroom there is a feeling of vibrance and warmth from the upholstered walls (which are done in a yellow and blue floral pattern with a touch of coral), the elegant window treatment, and the hand painted bathtub. Some of the additional details to look for are the hand painted mural on the ceiling, the piece of art glass added to the lower half of the window, the skirted sink, the mirror above the sink with shirred fabric, the upholstered toilet seat, the chrome tub tray, and the console table. In the evening, while soaking in the tub with your favorite book, you can lean back, relax, and look up at the hand painted branches and birds on the ceiling. The softness of the room will relax you completely.
1998 "Landmark Legacy" – Entertainment Room
This room was started with a fondness for the 40's era and a desire to entertain at home in the 90's lifestyle. The color scheme of black, yellow and red with accents of orange gave this room an energetic feel. There is something for everyone here. As you enter the room, to the right is the billiard area, to the left is the media center and poker table. Wet and dry bar areas make serving convenient. For those who want some private time, there is a chaise in the corner for curling up and reading a book. You'll find a personal collection of antique radios and old movie posters. This room generates great conversation and laughter.
2001 "Lee House" – Kitchen with "Old World" Elegance
Whether having breakfast or preparing dinner, you will be surrounded in the "old world" ambiance needed in today's lifestyle. To achieve this, new cabinets were given an "old world" faux finish, and new hardware. Six of the raised panels were replaced with glass art. To complete the "old world" ambiance, we added a copper sink, faucet, wallpapered and painted the ceiling with bronze finish. Tumbled antique limestone with bronze accents was used for the floor and backsplash. For today's modern lifestyle, zodiac quartz was selected for the counter tops - for its beauty and durability. To complete this traditional space, a warm palette was used
