South Hampton, New York
The Hamptons Contemporary Home Design & Décor Show was the first of it’s kind. Held in the Hamptons and created by ArtHamptons, the show was staged in a 40,000 square foot tented space.
This elegant event with unique products and services defined quality, luxury and comfort on the east end of Long Island. This show was open for the trade and to the public.
We flew in with only a few days to take our 10 x 20 space and turn it into a chic lounge. Luckily my senior designer Erika’s daughter and her best friend were there to help! We had our custom flooring installed prior to us landing in NY.
We had our wallpaper installer meet us there the first morning. He hung the plaster-like wallpaper (which is the patterned, textured wall covering that you see here) and after it had dried, he painted it a vibrant glossy fuchsia.
We got to unpacking all the boxes we brought with us and went to work laying rugs, moving furniture, hanging light fixtures, installing the TV on our unit (which took hours!!) and getting the entire space together.
We finished off the space with accessories! We ended up gathering some of the pieces you see at local shops!
