Meet Michelle
Interior design has been a life-long passion for Michelle Rohrer-Lauer, the award-winning founder of Michelle’s Interiors. She has dedicated her career to creating extraordinary lifestyles through luxury home design.
A graduate of the design program at Gateway Technical College, Wisconsin, Michelle has an innate sense of style and a conviction that each home should embrace the spirit of the people who live there.
Her inspiration begins with her clients’ personal stories, but she draws on decades of experience
working with the essential tools of design: color, texture, scale, function and most of all, creativity.
Function before form.
Michelle believes that the best spaces can transform you. Her aesthetic is inspired by fashion, architecture, luxury automobiles and the history she discovers during her travels here and abroad.
I love luxury cars. They remind me of a custom home where the exterior design draws you inside. When you sit in a finely engineered car, the seat hugs your body. The controls are within easy reach. The details and tailoring are superb, and you don’t hear outside noise. It seamlessly combines beauty and purpose, like a professionally designed home.
She is dedicated to connecting her clients to sensible, eco-friendly interior design solutions, such as sustainably harvested and fast-growing woods for furniture, natural wood alternatives, natural fabrics, water-based finishes and much more.

The interior designers at Michelle's Interiors have a wide range of style abilities and deliver a contemporary twist with a unique ability to create something special for the client's home. They often use custom furnishings that add a distinctive touch. They are highly motivated designers who have a fabulous eye for color, scale and harmony. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a very special room or are needing direction in a remodeling or new build project. I enjoy working with Michelle, Erika and Kelsey! 
Michelle's Interiors did a wonderful job of selecting and coordinating workers for the job as well as providing invaluable assistance on the selection of materials/product to be used on the job. These services ranged from selection of carpeting/wall papers to painters and materials such as wall and floor tiles for the bathroom finishing. Michelle's staff was attentive to the work schedule, prompt in responding to e-mails and phone calls as well as having timely responses to a question regarding an invoice. I could not be more pleased with the experience I had with Michelle's Interiors and would highly recommend them to other people in the market for interior design services. 
Michelle is great to work with. She has done the majority of decorating and furniture suggestions/purchases for our house in Wisconsin. Even when we find something ourselves that we think might work we run it by her first for a professional opinion. She designed, and managed the installation of custom windows treatments and power operated shades at our Wisconsin house. They look fantastic, and help tremendously with Sun and temperature fluctuations. She is easy to work with, and flexible in decisions. 
I have worked with Michelle for almost 24 years! She decorated my first daughter's baby room and has just just recently completed a kitchen remodel and sunroom on our home. She has extraordinary taste and is easy to work with to find the right look and our budget. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a fresh beautiful look to their home. Her team is professional and courteous. We just love her! 
Fabulous design is what we experienced with Michelle's Interiors. Michelle and her Team developed a beautiful design that exceeded our expectations! Our project was extensive from powder room renovation, re-design of a family room, offices, dining room and multiple bedrooms. We loved how Michelle and her Team developed the designs with consideration to our personalities, style and comfort.
